Korin Munsterman

As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to advance and integrate into various aspects of our lives, including the legal domain, it is crucial to examine the ethical implications surrounding this technology. This presentation aims to provide a comprehensive overview of AI and its ethical considerations.

The presentation will begin by discussing the different types of AI, such as narrow AI, general AI, and superintelligence, to establish a common understanding of the technology, and then discuss the various ethical challenges posed by AI, including: Bias, Explainability, Transparency, Traceability and Auditability, and the Alignment problem.

Real-world examples and case studies that demonstrate the impact of these ethical considerations on the legal field will be discussed, as well as potential solutions and best practices for developing and deploying ethical AI systems in the legal domain.

By the end of this presentation, attendees will have a deeper understanding of the ethical landscape surrounding AI and be better equipped to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by this transformative technology in the legal context.
