Original Content Collections Manager, LII

Nichole is the Original Content Collections Manager for the Legal Information Institute (LII) at Cornell Law School. She primarily focuses on Wex – the LII’s free legal dictionary and encyclopedia. Nichole also hires and oversees the law students who contribute to and update this content.

Nichole worked for many years in human services advocacy and compliance, serving both non-profit agencies and the State of New York. She is also a former adjunct faculty member at Syracuse University’s iSchool, where she taught the undergraduate course Data in Society.
Her background as a librarian includes roles in public, academic, and specialized libraries. Nichole has previously supported the Law Library of Congress as a Metadata Intern, and has worked as a librarian for a law firm. She also volunteers as a digital archivist for KRIA: The Icelandic Constitution Archives.

In addition to her M.S. in Library and Information Science, Nichole has a B.A. in Women’s Studies and an M.S. in Criminal Justice Administration.
